spacemishka Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 It is basically a Gherkin which supports QMK. So i can have a layer for each aircraft on this,...and it will use rgb backlight to indicate the selected aircraft. It also supports key sequences, to automate startup procedures and else
spacemishka Posted September 19, 2021 Author Posted September 19, 2021 little update. Since i am a big fan of the Viggen, i implemented some basic keystroke sequences for the BK90. Sadly the Keycaps i use are really pricey in germany. I got these with another keyboard. There is also a shortcut to set the Mavericks

Hmm to me that's like taking a fully clickable cockpit and downgrading it to an FC3 experience. Doesn't break your immersion? That's a very good idea! Looks practical, and should be far more affordable than one of those desirable fancy button boxes with switches. I'm actually interested in something like this. Let us know how it goes, and how much cost in the end. Let us know how it goes, and how much cost in the end. DIY cost roughly: PCB + bottomplate + top plate 9USD Arduino Pro Micro 9USD Diodes ~ 30Cents Switches (blue Gaterons) ~ 25Cent per each so 6USD Keycaps (X-Keys) around 1,20 USD per each so 35USD in Germany,...these much cheaper in the US. Optional: Holtites (makes the switchs swapable) RGB-Backlight Assembly Service (you can by them assembled but usually it will add >=60USD) Edited September 20, 2021 by spacemishka
