shaggy Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 What file was it that you had to change to get better quality Jpeg pictures in lockon? Was it the graphics.cfg`? Ironhand Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Yes. About 10 lines from the bottom. I actually changed mine to save as BMPs rather than JPGs. You can also change the name given to the screenshots in that section as well. Boberro Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Change extension from jpg to bmp and set quality to 100% for secure I think: ScreenshotQuality = 90; ScreenshotName = "ScreenShots/ScreenShot_%03d.bmp"; <-- I think here you must change extension too from jpg to bmp ScreenshotExt = "bmp"; Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
DTWD Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 LoCFG has a gui for these settings. In the real world you can't set a percentage of quality to a bitmap, only colour depth etc. However I am not sure what a percentage change does in LOMAC/FC. You can't change the quality higher than 100% in jpeg. If it still looks poor on 100% it's down to the algorithem ED put in. If you export as BMP it should be as you see it on the screen and then you can tweak the compression yourself. Regards Paul Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
