Hi All,

I hope someone can help, I got a brand new cm3 throttle on Friday, and I have spent the last day trying to diagnose a problem, ever since I have had the throttle, either the throttle or the cm2 base (either with the warthog or constellation alpha grip) randomly disconnects from windows (it no longer recognises it as a joystick or throttle, it doesn’t show up in vpc test either) but is still visible in the virpil config software…

I have tried everything I can think of… moving to different USB ports, powered hub, direct connection to the pc, reflashed the devices, reinstalled the software, uninstalled vjoy, removed other usb devices, etc…

can anyone offer any ideas, I’m going slightly spare.

Make sure your Windows OS is not managing the power settings of your USB devices. You can check it like this:

Sometimes enabling USB power management by Win OS can cause weird behaviour like devices suddenly not being available anymore, as they
went into sleeping mode.

I had the same thing, Bought an A brand powered hub. But when I attached my throttle to it, it my PC kept pinging for new deviced attached, then removed, attached, removed.

What worked for me (and I see you already tried that, I put my throttle and stick in a front USB-3.0 slot and the rudder pedals in a rear USB-3.0 slot. Only my TrackIR goes into the powered hub.

Don't practise till you got it right.
