Winwing super taurus technical issues

Hi folks,

I've been using my brand new Winwing supertaurus for just 2 months and the finger lifts on the throttle are no longer working. I mean no valid input in Simapp application and DCS F18 module. It looks like the internal mecanism or switch is dead. Any clue please for troubleshooting. It would be a nightmare to return the device to China as it took almost one month to be delivered the parcel when ordered online. What a frustration !!

One more issue to ruin my experience, the radar elevation wheel on the grip is no longer recognized in DCS F18 with no explanation.... It was working perfectly one week ago. However, contrary to the fingerlifts, it is recognized in SimappPro.

My WinWing Taurus was delivered with several quality defects as well such as exposed wiring within the throttle track and a dead switch.  The radar antenna elevation wheel also binds against the throttle housing.  As none of these items were worth the shipping the unit back to China, I rerouted the wiring as best I could and had to make do with the rest.  Had none of these issues with the Thrustmaster and Virpil products I have also used.

 

I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions beyond joining you in being disappointed in WinWing QA.

Sorry to hear about that Nozzle,

what a disappointment indeed, especially if we consider how complicated it is to return the defective item to China. It looks like that company is not concerned by after sales services which is gonna be prejudicial to their expansion in western countries.
