draconus Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 It was announced June 16: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/274164-dcs-f-14-development-update-bounce-burble-and-orbits/ Quote Night Catapult Signalization The standard way of launching off of the carrier at night is to flash the aircraft’s lights to signal the carrier crew. This is now implemented in the F-14, and takes the place of the standard salute during daytime. but all that is done is just a trigger from the binding to Master Lights On. Ground Crew > Salute comms menu does the same. If we turn on Master Lights before connecting to the cat we can then turn on the nav lights switch to actually turn on the external lights as salute but we won't be launched by the crew. I present two tracks of launching both A and B. One with comms menu, the other with key binding. I specificaly turn slimes off and go to external view to show that no lights are turning on on the aircraft. Can this be fixed so that it works from the ground crew POV? They see the lights turning on - they launch you. They have no way to know what switch pilot used. night launch A.trk night launch B.trk 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Nealius Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Wait, so during the day if we switch Master Lights ON without saluting it will also launch us?
