But as far as I tested, GBU-38s seemed to work fine once you changed the default 0° impact angle. Unlike GBU-54s.

Any value other than the default 0° seems to work.

60° is the default value for the F-16 (and maybe the F-18 too, if I remember correctly)

There should be an impact angle setting which turns off impact angle preference (bomb chooses trajectory which maximizes other performance). For azimuth it's 0,1-360 where 0 is disabled and 1 through 360 are headings.

 

What's the impact angle value which turns it off?
