Civil Aircraft Mod + Syria map has a unique error msg... "Error set to airfield"

Getting this unique error message...

 

"Error set to airfield.

"No free airport."

 

Really odd.

And not only Syria map, but also Marianas map has the same trouble about Saipan airport.

 

 

Those airports / airbases have limited size parking areas 56 meters long X 51 meters wide (or more less size).

Longer X Wider aircrafts like A330 / B747 cannot be placed as Takeoff from ramp / parking hot or taxi to spots after landed.

That decision is made by length and wing_span values written in each mods' lua files.

So, we can edit their lua files  to change those values decreased to trick Mission Editor or DCS AI engine as talked in those topics.

 

 

For a fundamental solution, ED and UM will change those maps' airports / airbases parking area limit settings to allow A330 / B747 parking.

What happens if you try to park a B-52 or any of the big AWACS/tankers on those airfields?

RAF Akrotiri (Cypros, Syria map) denies B-52 starting from Ramp as same as A330.

E-3A / KC-135 are based on Boeing 707 (or its prototype) and not so large ( 46.6 m X 44.5 m ) and OK.

C-17 ( 53 m X 51.8 m ) can spawn there ..... even the number  of available spots is very limited.

 

I haven't checked Saipan with the biggest taxi-able ED stock aircrafts. But perhaps 1 or 2 spots maybe available by C-17 / B-52.

Tinian is limited. C-17 or IL-76MD cannot taxi there, I saw. Well its parking space looks small guessing impossible to treat them.
