what base is this

i have no clue why its not part of PG map like other bases, it doesn't have an atc and acts like buildings and not an airport, you cant rearm or spawn from it, so whats its name?, well i dont know but would like too, and can we get it added fully, maybe?

It is Quasiawira/Qusahwira/Qasawera Airbase in the UAE. It's been present on the map for at least 2 years according to here. And IRL it was discovered 6 years ago according to this.

 

And to make it functional, you can put an invisible FARP heliport on the runway and then you need the following ground units somewhere nearby (not sure what the maximum distance is):

• LUV HMMWV Jeep
• Refueller M978 HEMTT
• Truck M939 Heavy
• FARP Tent

Or for REDFOR:

• Truck SKP-11 Mobile ATC
• GPU APA-5D on Ural 4320/GPU APA-80 on ZIL-131
• Refueller ATMZ-5/ATZ-10/ATZ-5
• Truck GAZ-66/KAMAZ 43101/Ural 375/ZIL-135 (some of these might not work)
• FARP Tent

 

EDIT: You might need to put an invisible FARP on each parking area, and have the whole selection of units somewhere close in each area (I've put an invisible FARP at each ramp, as well as on each arm/de-arm area, and the runway, with the units above dotted around the ramps).

cool, i still think they should add it officially also in y experience farp tents are not required

Oh really? I thought they were needed for repairs, might be misremembering though.

 

As for the base, it might be difficult as there really isn't much information about it, and the elevation mesh around it is non-existent.

 

It might've been intended as more of an easter egg or something.

never tried repairing at a farp so maybe they are

You can spawn using "from ground" setting.
