ME - Unable to place KA-50 on ships since last patch.

Since the recent patch on 11th August, I'm unable to place the KA-50 on carriers or ships with any of the takeoff options.

This could be a side effect of allowing the Mi-24P to be placed on carriers. Can someone else confirm the bug, please?

I cannot reproduce. Mission provided with 3 KA-50's each set to takeoff parking hot, ramp, and runway all on the LHA-1 Tarawa with no issues. Unsure of why you might not be able to, you can try running a repair. If it still persists after a repair, please post a short video of the issue. Thanks.

*shrugs* this is weird.

Went back and tested on a mission where I try things out.  Same issue, could not place on any ships.  Checked moving/unmoving.  Matching coalitions. Player and AI controlled.  Then tried with adding various different aircraft and had no issues placing those.  Just couldn't set the KA-50 to take off, instead it would move to the nearest land airfield.

 

Then I tried opening a fresh mission.  Same map (Syria) couldn't replicate the issue.  Works fine.  Go back and test in the previous mission, it starts working...

Maybe your mission got "damaged" in some way? That is weird, indeed.

 

If you're OK with it, you can attach your .miz file so we can try to reproduce and understand the issue.

I cannot reproduce your issue with your mission file. I've just tried changing the UH-1H for a Ka-50: it stayed on the ship as expected, and when I launched the mission, my Ka-50 spawned on the ship.
