Chirpy. Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 I discovered through another member of the discord and my own testing that using TMS FWS Long with TAD SOI does not create a SPI, as it should. Due to ITAR I cannot post the diagram but this is clearly depicted in the 1A-10C-1 that this command exists. I feel like this used to work years ago but my memory is fuzzy. Currently the only way to get a SPI from the TAD cursor is to drop a markpoint and make the markpoint SPI which is incorrect according to said diagram. This functionality is also depicted in lots of community created hotas diagrams. Would love for the team to look into this. Thanks!
Yurgon Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 As far as I can think back, only hooked TAD objects could become SPI. So if nothing is hooked, TAD won't become SPI Generator/SPI Source, and when a TAD object is unhooked while TAD is SPI, the SPI will revert back to STPT. I don't know if this is realistic, but I think it's been like this from day one, though I'm not 100% certain. 2

That's what I remember also. Only hooked objects can become SPI. EDIT: To OP: You can make a markpoint on the TAD if you want to remember a spot.
