WW2 Strafing

Is there a way to have WW2 fighters do multiple gun/cannon strafing runs at a particular position or against particular groups of enemies?

 

For example I have a bunch of soldiers and vehicles on a beach and I want the german planes to run in and strafe the heck out of them multiple times. How can this be done? Thanks!

 

PS. i tried CAS -> search and engage in zone, but they just flew around for a minute and then left without firing a shot

It works with "attack group" tasks. (search&engage doesn't guaranty that target gets visible & engaged)

problem with this is i have like a hundred groups on the beach. it'd be much better if he would just engage all enemies within a 1km radiius of the center of the beach. it would seem like "search and engage in zone" would be perfect. i wonder why it's not working
