i suggest ED add option to edit kneeboard  ( typing ) in kneeboard during game play atleast make last page editable or available to write notes on it .

it will be very handful to write important notes specially for old planes  ex. Mig-21

There is a very useful tool that does what you wish, called VR scratchpad: 

 

It is 2 years old, but it still works with the latest DCS 2.7:

VAICOM PRO is primarily about voice communications with the AI. However it now has a kneeboard feature that (among many other things) let's you dictate notes to a page. No typing required. Requires VoiceAttack.
