BarTzi Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 (edited) I'm pretty sure the word ERROR never comes up on the scratchpad, and that it's EAAOA instead. If you look at the UFC font, A and R are very easy to tell apart, as seen in this screenshot (compare T/R to the word ERROR that should be displayed): https://imgur.com/lVnX9v8 Edited August 23, 2021 by BarTzi
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted August 23, 2021 ED Team Posted August 23, 2021 This is correct as is. The UFC can not do the larger characters, there are not as many segments. 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Solution AndyJWest Posted August 23, 2021 Solution Posted August 23, 2021 (edited) This seems to be a result of the way the scratchpad on the UFC probably works. It appears to be a segmented display, rather than a bitmapped device. Only the first two possible characters are alphanumeric, and the remaining seven are numeric only, according to NATOPS. The 'A's or 'R's are '8's with the bottom segment unlit. The option display windows to the right have a different segment layout, so can show more characters. Edited August 23, 2021 by AndyJWest 1
