Problem installing patch 1.12

Hey guys,

 

I wonder if any of you could help me with a small problem i am having with my Flaming cliffs, I am new to Lock on so im not used to this thing lol.

 

I have installed Basic Lock on Modern air Combat, and then Flaming Cliffs over the top. I have then tried to install the 1.12 patch and this is where i get the problem. I get error code 2 and so far have not been able to find out what it is or how to fix it, any of you guys know?

I guess you have installed the wrong 1.12b patch. There are different patches for the CD, download and Gold versions. See here:

Or go to http://lockon.co.uk/ , log in and navigate to FILES -> DOWNLOADS.

As Acedy states - Error Code 2 is indicative of an incorrect patch that you are attempting to install.

 

The JaBog32 site has the most comprehensive patch availability and is pretty well explained - so ensure you have the correct patch for your version.

 

Might also be worthwhile to uninstall and clear the registry prior to reinstalling with the correct patch as this has been known to cause more problems on a subsequent installation.

Thank you very much guys, All working correctly now.

 

I wasn't aware that there was a difference between Lock on Golds falming cliffs and basic flaming cliffs.
