Steel Jaw Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 When the sim is running, if I leave the computer, sometimes the sim stops seeing TIR even though TIR itself is still functioning, is there a way to reactivate TIR from within the sim? Hint, FBMS has a keystroke for that called "Track IR reload". 6bucks Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Have you tried pausing it before walking away to see if that helps? I have that mapped to a button. Are you using the reflector or LED? I don't believe you can restart the TIR once you're in the game. However, I have had a few lockups (rarely) but have been able to pull the usb plug and reconnect and the game sees it fine. As long as it's running before the game starts as I'm sure you know. This works both in IL2 and DCS. But you can't stop TIR while the games running then restart it , at least not to my knowledge. It has to be running 1st. I'm not sure how the FBMS would work while the games running? 1
Simm0 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 You can try "rescan devices" from the keybindings screen. That has worked for me in the past if for some reason the TrackIR wasn't pickedup. 1

Red Dog Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 I have that issue as well. DCS at some point stops seeing Track-IR My only cure so far was to exit back to windows, stop TIR and reload TIR and then reload DCS. I haven't tested the rescan device yet but I will, is there a way to create a keybinding for that? Maybe adding something in the default.lua files?
