[REPORTED] EHSD Ground track showing drift despite no wind

I noticed that on the Nevada map, with no winds, the ground track displayed next to the aircraft symbol on the EHSD MAP was showing 7 degrees more than what my actual track was. Not sure if this is an isolated bug to the Nevada map or exactly what may be causing this.   

 

I will investigate further and report back.

I think you will find it showing Magnetic variation. If you select the TRUE OBS under MAPM you can cycle between magnetic and true heading, obviously the track line is track.

While the issue shows up when using Magnetic, the displayed ground track is neither correct for True or Magnetic i.e. final approach to Nellis is 208°M (220°T) but the ground track on the EHSD shows 215° (when lined up correctly) i.e. +7° on top of the correct value.

 

 

I know the AV-8B's AWLS file marks Nevada as incompatible but clearly the Kneeboard and other HUD/EHSD elements use the correct MagVar.

 

Tested using DCS 2.7.5.10869 in Caucasus, Persian Gulf and Syria. Only Nevada had issues with the displayed ground track.

Hey guys, not sure if this is on our or ED's side, but i've added the issue in our bug tracker, and we will see what can be done about it.
