elchacal Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 (edited) Yesterday I've been experiencing this problem with Stores page. The bomb simboly was crossed out and I couldn't drop any AG ordnance (Smart and dumb bombs). I turned on the master arm switch and selected AG mode as usual. I guessed that the stores system was not able to recognize the current paylod, it's a typical issue in the A-10C, but in the Hornet I don't know the proper procedure to solve it. Thanks. Tholozor Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 According to the second image the Master Arm is in the SAFE position, the MFUZ is set to OFF, and the EFUZ is set to OFF. Set the MFUZ to NOSE, and the EFUZ to INST. 1 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
Jak525 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 (edited) The X has to do with not meeting A/G RDY (ready) criteria. Different weapons have different requirements, can't remember if fuzing is required in DCS for the dumb bombs, but at the very least you need A/G master mode and master arm. Sadly this X-out cue only works correctly for some weapons, luckily the Mk-80 series being one of them. It's really actually a great thing that makes the Hornet very intuitive because you can clearly tell when your weapon is ready to go by the universal "X'd out" cue and the opposite "RDY" cue. I'd also note that if you are getting a store X'd out, it is definitely identified in the SMS. If it wasn't inventoried, it would not be showing up at all for selection. Frederf Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Fuzing is not a requirement for RDY and a box without slash or X. Ready requirements include: AG mode Master ARM and/or SIM boxed Landing gear up Laser code valid (Paveway) That's all I could find on a quick look. 1
