ARM505 Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 (edited) I have searched but cannot see if this is already reported, but it is not in the FAQ: The radiator exhaust flaps are not symmetrical - the aircraft right side one is 'warped' and doesn't seem to open fully, compared to the aircraft left side (the right side one in the picture) which opens as expected (not that easy to see, but visible under each wing in this screenshot). iFoxRomeo Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 (edited) The radiator flaps warp with open command and unwarp with close command. It appears that one side of the flap is fixed, hence the warping with open/close. Edited September 20, 2021 by iFoxRomeo Spoiler PC Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, Oculus Quest 3
ARM505 Posted September 21, 2021 Author Posted September 21, 2021 Yes, I should have been more clear - when closed, they seem normal, but when opened, the right side (aircraft right) one 'warps' - the polygon seems to only move to the open position on the inboard edge.
Nealius Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 A better image showing the issue. You can see that only the inboard half of the radiator flap actually opens. The outboard half remains mostly closed.
