Hi All,

I am trying to save a script in Target Script Editor but I am getting the following error when trying to save

image.png

I have checked the permissions of the folder structure and have full access rights via security tab

Anyone able to throw any light on this or at least where to start?

Thank you

I was not trying to save it to that folder anyway, it was set to save on a different drive in my data folder

I ask because the screenshot you posted mention "C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET" as path...

Program Files (both) are Windows protected directories. If you give the .exe administrator privileges it will be able to access it. Under modern OS the program directories aren't supposed to be for user data. Best practice is to keep your .tmc in Documents\TARGET\ or similar. If you really want to keep your .tmc files in the protected directory then you need to give the .exe administrator elevation.

I was not trying to save to that folder. I had a totally different location selected that was out of O/S protection installation folders, which I fully understand as I am a 30 veteran of I.T. Consulting and Tech Support.

I was trying to save it to a custom data folder where I save all my files, it is just that when the error came up, it changed the save path to as per the image

I have solved it now anyway, I have selected a different folder within my save location structure and it worked this time around
