YukinoTora Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 So I came home after a long time away from my computer and did all the updates. I was having issues with a CTD with no warning. I deleted and reinstalled DCS last night and still have not fixed the issue. Event viewer is showing: Faulting application name: DCS.exe, version: 2.7.6.13436, time stamp: 0x61537aeb Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.19041.1202, time stamp: 0x4f115fac Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x00000000000ff199 Faulting process id: 0x17b4 Faulting application start time: 0x01d7b61a67b958d3 Faulting application path: E:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: e5d81c8c-da4e-4a56-b8c6-a63b9148955f Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: DCS Log is attached DCS Log.zip
GumidekCZ Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 @YukinoTora I had also an issue with CTD with no warning at all. I tried to limit amount of virtual memory file to size of my 16GB RAM on WIN system disc and deleted all other page files (also one from DCS SSD disc) - and it helped ... no CTD so far.

I kept track of three users who solved this kind of crash: One had a faulty RAM and had to change it: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/275606-random-crashes/?do=findComment&comment=4750159 One had some issues with DCS cache files: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/275606-random-crashes/?tab=comments#comment-4712246 And another one fixed this by setting his Windows pagefile size to automatically managed: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/260427-game-crash-when-launching-from-super-carrier-in-fa-18/?do=findComment&comment=4589044 Start by clearing you DCS cache files. If that's not enough, check your pagefile settings. And then check your RAM. You can use the Windows Memory diagnostic tool or MemTest. Edited October 1, 2021 by Flappie ---
