Iron Sights Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 I don’t know if anyone has experienced this so I’m throwing out here because I think it may be a bug. When trimming the Mossie, the elevator trim always seems a bit over responsive. I little up gives you too much up, a little down the same. I’ve tried using the trim hat on my stick and just using the trim wheel, still same results. All other trim setting seem spot on.
Rob Mason Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 I puta 15 curve on my elevator and aileron in axis tune this made an extreme difference, also I also found that power settings are key to a good "hands off" trim, say around 2500-2600 rpm and around 10 boost but yes do agree it is a little sensitive but I'm sure ED will address it over the next few months.
Iron Sights Posted October 1, 2021 Author Posted October 1, 2021 Yes, I have added a curve and that made the elevator response less twitchy, noticed that right off. I’ll take a closer look maybe I can effect the trim somehow. Also starting using power for trim as well. Just wondering since it was the only module I noticed this on.
peachpossum Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 I have not personally tried this solution but others are reporting some success with editing the control binding LUA files. Munkwolf Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 I added different trim speeds to the Mossie keybinds in the keybinds project: https://github.com/Munkwolf/dcs-community-keybinds/blob/main/InputCommands/MosquitoFBMkVI/Input/MosquitoFBMkVI/joystick/default.lua You can search on that page for 'trim' to pull the bindings into your own file, or use the whole file with Quaggles Input Command Injector Mod
