How do you line up on grass strips?

I'm having trouble lining up on grass strips because there's no clear delineation between the strip and the surrounding grass. From altitude in the pattern on a sunny day, it's clear, but when taxiing on the ground I can't tell where I am at all. In the shade of clouds it's not clearly visible from the pattern either. How is everyone lining up properly for takeoff?

Taxi next to the windsock, turn towards runway heading and you should be on the runway. 

 

Or you can also just lock at the windsock, align with headwind and take off that way.
