Cowboy10uk Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Has anyone managed to design a cold and dark multiplayer training mission for 2 people yet? repent Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 the way i have been doing it is two separate flights of 1, both clients, then on mp it allows the choice of both flights.
Cowboy10uk Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 nope, I can add to units one as player and one as client, I can set the player to takeoff from parking, But as soon as i change client to takeoff, The client heli disapears and the player heli goes to client. Wont let me add 2nd flight of 1, as soon as i change unit to unit 2, it changes back to one as soon as i move curser. bloody thing. Add a shark over the airport on map (If Icons on left greyed out just hit preview mission, map will load up, you exit back and icons light up... i do not know why this is case)and select him as client, take off from parking. To now you want to add you frinds.? ok so now you create second shark, take off from parking, have him select as client. You don't have to select any of sharks as PLAYER. Now.. you go to mulitplayer, set your number of players select your mission you created, your server should start, and only 2 people can join.. becuase you create only 2 sharks. "you can pick weapons and skin for each in payload menu, for each shark you create." Don't add more to your flight because that don't work, you need to create brand new shark for each player from the net. I host big game on net from this meathod (i created 10 sharks) for my map, and everyone could join with shark, power off on ramp. I hope this help you .
