Kang Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 I received an update to Windows 10 last night and while I managed to use DCS quite normally yesterday, today the luck has apparently run out. Single Player missions load alright-ish (one crashed earlier, but that might be unrelated), but the attempt of joining any multiplayer server always ends at the end of the loading screen, status saying 'Mission Load Done'. I've tried with several different servers in order to rule out mission-related issues, always the same result. Anybody else having a similar issue? Or better yet, a solution? dcs.log

Kang Posted October 16, 2021 Author Posted October 16, 2021 I tried that and it sadly has not produced any change.
Solution Gumbie Posted October 16, 2021 Solution Posted October 16, 2021 Make sure that your Graphics Drivers and Programs are still correct versions mine did similar thing the update had something to do with a Driver that deals with visuals on multiple screens after update the App used to control my graphic settings which is Amd Radeon software had changed versions never got notification that a this change took place which when I tried to play a game, the game would start and then crash I just did a reinstall of Graphics card drivers and fixed my issue not sure if this is the same case for you but something to check.
Kang Posted October 16, 2021 Author Posted October 16, 2021 Thank you for the reminder, Gumbie. It's still far from working okay, or as it was, but updated sound and video drivers at least let me enter a game again; just a lot of unexpected waiting involved.
