Chinese asset pack

Hi Folks.

 

I may be a bit of a thicky, but I'm totally at a loss at the need for a Chinese asset pack.  This is where the Mr Thicky bit comes in. Have I missed something? Is there a modern scenario I have missed where I can have a battle with modern Chinese forces? I've looked through the products section time and again and can't see anything.

 

Please someone enlighten me even if just to reassure myself I'm not cracking up.

There is no pre-made scenario, but you can use the Mission Editor and design your own. The pack components that you can use are:

Aircrafts: H-6J, J-11A, JF-17, KJ-2000 and the UAV WingLoong

Ships: 052B & 052C destroyers, 054A frigate, 071 transport and 093 submarine.

Vehicles: PLZ-05, ZBD-04A and ZTZ-96B

SAM:  HQ-7 radar and launcher

Plus 29 assorted Weapons & Missiles.

DCS is a sandbox.  A big, empty sandbox.  ED leaves it up to you and the user community to create content.

That's a bit misleading ... ED provides a lot of missions and campaigns for free, just this one free Assets Pack does not have any.
