Talisman_VR Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 (edited) Dear DCS, Would it be possible for you to improve the capability to rescue an actual player pilot with a CSAR helicopter, like in the video below but much improved? At the moment legs stick out of the helicopter and we can't actually get the pilot to climb in and sit in a seat. It would be great to have a key press function to allow for boarding the helicopter properly when the rescued pilot is at the door and for disembarking too. Also, at the moment the pilot of the CSAR helicopter can't actually see the rescued pilot when onboard and inside the chopper. Please provide a facility for us to be able to actually see passengers that we have picked up in the back of the helicopter. It would be a very good feature if you could expand on this capability in a number of other ways for more realism and also trigger the rescued pilot as actually still alive and well in friendly territory and ready to fly again, or if the pilot is injured, then flag up as hospitalised. Thank you for your consideration. Edited October 20, 2021 by Talisman_VR 4
Nomatic Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 +1 I would love any and all CSAR functionality updates! To include embarking and disembarking animations for troops/pilots. This would also be REALLY cool functionality for the Dynamic Campaign. Get shot down but have CSAR pickup, you go on living. Would be super cool. 1 If speed is death…, buy a Honda and live forever.
