RiskyShift Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Bios versions featuring AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.3 Patch C for ryzen 5000 series causes crashes on the beta. Even with fresh windows 10 install and no other software or overclock. Game always crashes within 5 to 10 minutes. Currently using Patch A and no issues. As of now, repeated attempts to join a server net success, however when joining a server i havent played before, the game crashes. As of now, If i do happen to make it into a server, i only last about 30 to 40 minutes before crash, however that is not constant. Maybe 2 out of 10 times. I have included a video of this happening. The issue seems to have evolved over time. On September 17, I could play for a few minutes with then crash. Every time I played. This was the case until Yesterdays update to the open beta. Now the game seems to crash then the visualizer starts, or when it is downloading the mission. I should note outside of setting Ram speed to 3606mhz with DOCP, and enabling virtualization along side amds already included PBO )precision boost overdrive, no other significant changes have been made in the bios. Bios used in video is most recent for ROG Strix X570-F Gaming (4021) paired with Ryzen 7 5800x. I have no idea if that is a result of a small bug, or faulty gpu.

Good to hear you can play now, thanks for letting me know Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
