Worth upgrading a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 5 5600x for VR?

Hello! Do you guys think its worth upgrading a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 5 5600x for VR? with the R5 2600 I got 27ms of CPU frametime (from fpsvr) and 36F GPU Frametime. As I understand, my performance is being holded back by the CPU, because the cores used by DCS stay 90% all the time and the GPU never pass 50%. I want to make this upgrade to be able to reach at least 40FPS on the ground (actual 18-25 on the 2600). The frequency of the 2600 is 3.4ghz and boost at 3.9ghz, and the 5600x is 3.7ghz with boost at 4.6ghz.

The 5600X is about 50% faster than the 2600, in the Single Core passmark, which I find correlates well with the DCS performance:
