Jagohu Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 If the player taxies to a catapult which is not the one that he's parking spot is designated for, the catapult crew doesn't react, no marshaling, no indication anymore. It used to work and it wouldn't matter if we had proper taxi guidance. ie. spawning on Elevator 3(front), the designated catapult would be CAT1. Taxiing to CAT3 will not trigger the deck crew into action.

If that doesnt work, sometimes if there is someone on CAT 4 or CAT 2 that will prevent the crew from doing anything. If you are alone on the carrier, I would not have an answer of why they wont respond to your actions. I'm not alone but every other aircraft are inactive yet. Taxiing to CAT2 (while the assignment would be CAT1) works. So only CAT3/4 doesn't work. Stearmandriver Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 There are many threads now regarding the supercarrier crew refusing refusing to acknowledge airplanes; AI and player aircraft. There seem to be multiple conditions that cause it, but you'd think there's got to be one root cause. Would be nice if they could come up with a manual menu command that forces the crew of a particular cat to activate, until the real cause can be found and fixed.

For me this happens alot in Multiplayer or using the Liberation Campaign (lots of aircraft).
