My first instant action

I jumped in soon after I installed the game. The mission starts.

 

Lots of blue targets out in front of me. I see that I have wingmen, so I order the wingmen to engage ground targets.

 

I fumble with some buttons trying to lock up a ground target...no joy

 

I'm thinking I should have read the weapons section of the manual at this point but press on anyways. I wanted to see how good my AI wingmen were going to do. I run in close to the ground and start to veer left away from the target area....

 

I hear a bullet hit my aircraft, suddenly I'm in an external view and none of the control inputs respond, I pan around the heli looks undamaged.....flying straight and level. I keep hitting F1 trying to get back to cockpit view.

 

Toggle to view the wingmen to see how they are doing. I'm thinking the game is crashing or I turned on the autopilot.

 

I switch back to my KA-50 and zoom in a bit closer...Is that something red on the glass? zoom in closer....looks like blood. Then I notice the front window is also missing......lol

 

One in a million shot I guess :)

 

My helicopter gracefully flys off into horizon like the lost dutchman. I'm laughing my butt off.

It's not the simple blood you see, it's BRAINS! I loved this feature in FC once i was hit by Hawk system while in Su-25T (costed me both wings and the rear part of the hull also) and was happy to see it here)

A while ago in the wee-hours, during my ingress to 7-11, low and behold, along the way point I saw a shiny red moped under a car so I did what any third world person would and scanned for a mangled body but didn't see any...ok, so the motorcyclist survived -- no gore so what's the point? So I banked sharply and headed across the street for the slurpee run. Then Mr. Instinct told me I should turn for a once over and so I did and there he was -- the motorcyclist spun into the wheel well. His body sickeningly folded inside the wheel well, his head stuck out between the fender and the wheel.

 

Can we 'not' have something like that in the next module?
