Frigondin Duglu Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Hello, I have read this on the Heatblur's page : https://store.heatblur.com/pages/about-us I don't understand, Leatherneck is not the publisher of Mig-21bis ? Regards, Frigondin
TLTeo Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 The team that made the Mig-21 and Viggen, and was developing the Tomact, was called Leatherneck at the time. They have since split into Magnitude 3, who kept the Mig21, and Heatblur, who kept the Viggen and completed the Tomcat. 1 1
QuiGon Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 (edited) In addition to what @TLTeo said, you can find the announcement of the split here: Here's an old dev diary for example from the time before the split when they were all still Leatherneck and working on the MiG-21 and the F-14: Edited October 29, 2021 by QuiGon Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Hiromachi Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 To be fair and exact the team that made the final release of the MiG-21bis was comprised of four partners. One of them, namely Cobra, left and founded Heatblur. Viggen crew was a bit larger, but thats not important. I think the claim in the linked picture is a bit of an exaggeration since Heatblur did not exist at a time MiG-21 was released 2 AMD Ryzen 5900X @ 4.95 Ghz / Asus Crosshair VII X470 / 32 GB DDR4 3600 Mhz Cl16 / Radeon 6800XT / Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD / Creative SoundBlaster AE-9 / HP Reverb G2 / VIRPIL T-50CM / Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder Pedals / Audio Technica ATH-MSR7
