Coota0 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 When I fly the F-14 (A or B) in the first person cockpit view the input is sluggish then quits. I'll pull up or put in a lateral movement and the aircraft begins to move then just kind of stops after a few degrees of roll or nose up/nose down. I can't even roll inverted. I thought it was an airspeed issue, it happens in all flight regimes, SAS on and off, gear up or down. However when I go to an exterior view the jet suddenly responds and I can throw it around as I would normally, once I go back to the cockpit the input is dampened again. I tried other aircraft, no issue. I tried rebinding the joystick...no joy. Anyone else have this issue?
DD_Fenrir Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 That’s a strange one Coota, no, can’t say I have ever experienced that one in the 2 years of owning, and the first I have heard of it. My first recommendation would be to run a repair of DCS; you’ll find an option to do this under your windows start menu in the Eagle Dynamics folder. If it persists, let us know what hardware you’re using and we’ll investigate further.
