Tango Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Hi, Is the wind affected by the terrain around it? Best regards, Tango.
EvilBivol-1 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 No, wind is "static" over the entire map as set in the mission weather settings. Turbulence is pseudo-dynamic (varies, but not in direct connection with terrain). - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer. The Parable of Jane's A-10 Forum Rules
Inseckt Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 No, I don't think so. As I understand, wind is presantly a constant force unchanged by any factor, same as in Lock on... This will hopefully change with the new engine... Edit: Sorry to duplicate your post! I type to slow.... Help Beczl with his DCS MiG-21Bis project by Pre-Ordering DCS MiG-21Bis module NOW! airea Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Condor (a glider simulation) has winf dynamics affected by terrain... There are thermals, sinks, conversions, merging thermals, lee side rotor, etc... Great sim...
Francous Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Yes Airea the best by far .. so far.. well it's like how BS is details on flights systems than Condor is with the world effects.
