Danno-ops Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 I am most certainly a retard, but I've been flying real single engine aircraft for 40 years. All had the pedals control the wheelbrakes and the rudder. But trying to get the P-47 set up is not working for me. The wheelbrake commands LCtrl+W and LAltL+W is b.s.. Natural for me is to make the yaw (twist handle) axis be both Logitech 3D extreme. Can someone provide some revelation for me?

You don't have pedals and want to use twist axis for rudder, ok. But how do you want to use the twist axis for brakes? If you don't have two analog axis to spare for left and right brake, you can only assign a "digital" on/off brake to whatever button or key you like. Edit: To put it in another way, if you want to recreate your RL-experience on footwork you need three analog axis (preferable on a set of rudder pedals). One for rudder and two for the brakes. If your input devices don't have that.... Edited November 9, 2021 by Hiob "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
Danno-ops Posted November 9, 2021 Author Posted November 9, 2021 Told you I was a retard. Settled on using keyboard for brakes and rudder by joystick. Thx
