Topper81 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 (edited) When I use point track of the TGP, acquire a moving target and then press Waypoint Increment long, I can create the target of oppertuinity which can be used for the Laser JDAM. However, the TO will not be updated if the target moves. The only way to update the TO is to move the TGP away from the Target and acquire the target again. Is this a bug or is there any other solution to update the TO in point track mode? Edited November 11, 2021 by Topper81

AFAIK it is not a bug, rather this is a limitation in how the AV-8B works, the TGP creates a fixed Target Point(s), not a dynamic SPI's that update as the TGP tracks a moving object, etc. i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
Pacbeachdr Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 What is being described is not a limitation of the AV-8B. If you TACL, then you will have a hot T0. The grid under the crosshairs on the TPOD is constantly being updated, and sent to T0. If the DCS Harrier does not work this way, then it is either a bug or incorrect implementation.
AlphaJuliet Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Hey, The T0 should be present in the EHSD as soon as a designation is made, and updated as the TPOD moves, in whatever tracking mode it is. The current T0 system is indeed not correctly implemented , we will work on improving it. This issue is reported in our tracker. Cheers, Alpha 1
