gulredrel Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Hello, as the title says. Is there a way to reset the max historical G value which is presented in the HUD's lower left during flight? Thanks Jens
krorvik Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 There should be, at least, I think Mover knows how... ;) Doesn't sound successful though. Only one way to find out.

Note Mover was flying F-16C Block 30 which had different analog flight control system with slightly bigger savety margins but with ability to exceed the limits to the bigger extend. Plus Block 30 had higher T/W and lower wing loading at the same time than our Block 50. Let's some RL Viper pilots verify.
Kilo Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 I remember Mover saying that he flew the 50/52 too, albeit for a very short time Все буде добре
gulredrel Posted November 12, 2021 Author Posted November 12, 2021 I saw the Mover video too and tried holding the HUD warning reset knob, but this did nothing in DCS. That's why I asked, if there's something else to select.
AvroLanc Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 The max G value should be re-settable using the HUD WARN Reset switch. USAF Block 30, Block 50/52, Export Block 50, MLU etc should all be the same. It's just a detail that hasn't been added yet. 1 1
Breezy Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Hello, Yes, the WARN RESET switch should reset the Max G indication, as well as other alerts like FUEL, etc... I anticipate this is a feature that will come with more improvements to the DED and ICP. Thanks. 1 1
