Does the DL channel selection changes anything in DCS?

I know the voice ones do, but the DL is a mistery to me.

They don't, that's why I'm asking. Seems to have no effect in the simulation, but perhaps I was missing something I didn't know.

No effect AFAIK. The only thing that matters in the whole MIDS "simulation" is that you turn the system on.

If you have SRS, you can use the two MIDS radios (VOCA, VOCB) with Radio 3 and 4 and people need to be in the same channel (other than 127).
