Realistic HUD mod

What the mod does is to replicate the somewhat limited FOV of the real one, and also makes it change position depending on your head position.

What we have in-game now is basically one large static circle, I think it is around 30° wide IIRC. What it should be are two ≈9° cones (one for each eye), slightly offset to each side. This I have implemented and ready to go, and it works beautifully. Almost... Only problem is that the FOV is lowered too much in the lower position of the HUD glass. Because of this the FOV is quite limited in the lower position.

There are two mod versions in the file. One 2D and one for VR.

New versions for both 2D and VR versions.

A more accurate and functional version with more accurate positioning of the FOV, and the FOV now also follows the HUD glass. Also implemented a limiter for the "total FOV", anything outside 30° will be masked.
Still sadly with the limited visibility with the HUD in the lower position, as I've yet to figure out a way to fix it. It's very close to being correct, but not quite. I'm personally using this mod, as the added immersion to me is well worth it.

Since flying with lowerd HUD is about 0,5% of the flying i dont see the problem.

Yes, this can be used together with that mod, and almost any other mod. The only mods that it will conflict with would be other HUD mods for the Viggen.

New version available for both the 2D and VR versions. This update add a reflection of the HUD, in the HUD.

The reflection's brightness is unfortunately not controlled by the ambient brightness, but the HUD brightness knob. I'm not sure it's possible to do it anyother way currently, but as the HUD brightness is proportional to the outside brightness, this still works pretty well.
Another slight annoyance is that the reflection does not change position when you lower the HUD to its lower position.

As this might not be for everyone I'll leave the old version up here.
