Boomer_G-Loc Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Hello; New user here; I'm looking to add some new planes to my game. I have the come-with TP-51 which comes unarmed. I assume the regular P-51 will have guns? Bigger question for me is; I have a big gaming computer which is NOT hooked up to the internet. Do I have to hook it online to add new planes for DCS, or can I download them onto my online machine and then x-fer them onto my big gamer and install them there? I don't want to pay the fee only to find out the downloaded module is stuck on my puny laptop internet machine. Will these new modules install and run without being hooked up to the internet? Thanks;
Art-J Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 1) Yes, payware P-51D is armed, combat version; 2) It kind of is possible to move DCS content from on PC to the other, but... 3) ...normally DCS requires internet connection to authorize, update and run. There is an "offline mode" which allows you to play on non-hooked up PC... but this PC has to be connected at least once, somehow, to enable that mode. Beirut Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Is it possible there is a three-day limit to unconnected usage, at least with some modules, or am I mixing up sims? Some of the planes, but all of the maps!
