Anyone figure out the cross-eye thing with the G2? I'm at my wits end

Just not sure what to do, apparently my IPD is 60.2 as measured by an app. I have tried the Debug tool and aligning my eyes to one another and even flipping them upside down... I have tried setting in-game IPD to match mine. Nothing seems to take-away the eye strain I get after even 10 minutes of flight.

I mainly bought the G2 for DCS, but at this point it's so much hassle I may end up sending it back and stick with my Quest2.

Has anyone figured it out?

Apps are usually very bad at this i had my optician measure mine.

In game IPD is not the same as IPD, and should be relabelled "world scale"

stupid question you have set your mechanical IPD adjustment to be 60.2 on the slider at the bottom of the g2?

Double check your IPD with a tape measure and mirror, not massively accurate but should ensure you're in the ballpark.

My experience with the G2 IPD slider is that it doesn't cause me significant eye strain if it's out, just not quite so focused. The eye mirroring debug made a world of difference to mine in dcs. All other vr games haven't had this issue.

As mentioned the IPD setting in dcs is a red herring, messing about with that can cause all sorts of cross eyed oddities.

That setting should not cause cross-eye problems since it changes world scale (or cockpit scale) and has nothing to do with real IPD as spead-of-heat mentioned already above.

I'm not too sure exactly what it did but in my experience it caused there to be a dislocation between the rotation of my head relative to the movement of the instrument panel. Almost as if my eyes were further forward in the sim compared to the axis of my neck.

That said this was before I reset the calibration of the G2 so perhaps that has a bearing on it?
