AlphaOneSix Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Why would the oil be changed at the FARP? 1
Mike Force Team Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 The super-duper dedicated ground crew person(s) can do an oil change after refueling. The pilots will have peace-of-mind knowing their chopper has grade-A JP-8 fuel and new engine oil.

Think about your car it takes like 15-30 you’re talking hours for the aircraft
Mike Force Team Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 You are not thinking like the military regarding needing hours to change the oil on the Apache. It is called "gainful employment for military personnel." Thank goodness I am not a standup comedian; I would keep falling down and laughing at myself
Mike Force Team Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 Sorry for any confusion. I will stick to what I do somewhat better, which is flying my jets and choppers. 1
