maddthomas Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 Every so often I try and google new stick, throttles and control panels. What I see is the same article that has been floating around for 10 plus years, listing Thrustmaster, Saitek, etc or a bunch of resellers and companies making setups for general aviation. Does any one know of any other flight sim hardware manufacturers? I know about Thrustmaster( obviously), VKB, Virpil and Winwing. Thanks.
VpR81 Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 (edited) Realsimulator is another high-end brand. https://realsimulator.com/ Brunner offers a high-end Force-Feedback joystick base. https://www.brunner-innovation.swiss/produkt/cls-e-joystick/?lang=de Both are significantly more expensive than the ones you already mentioned. But you get what you pay for and these aren't made in china. LucShep Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 (edited) There are some manufacturers selling variations of the same stick and throttle hardware, aimed at the budget segment of the fligh-sim gear market. The stick being hall-sensor based, a cheaper clone of the old VKB Cobra M5 (or Defender Cobra), and the throttle being a simplifiied design of the Saitek X45 throttle: FR-Tec Raptor Mach 1 HOTAS Combo: https://contactsimulations.co.uk/?page_id=415 Titanwolf Vulture and Griffin (stick+throttle): https://www.titanwolf-gaming.de/vulture https://www.titanwolf-gaming.de/griffin Flashfire Cobra V5 HOTAS COMBO: https://www.flashfire.tw/en/items/6f743c Asian-Games Cobra V5 and JSA-1000 (stick+throttle): http://www.asian-games.com.tw/pc/products.php?category=3 All of these have been on the market for a while now, though no idea if there are any relevant in-house modifications for internal components (and software?). These can make for a decent affordable HOTAS (stick+throttle) alternative for anyone on a very tight budget, seeing them available at low prices (at 110,00 Euros or less).
