Loads but only into hangar, no menu or options after update

I have vr but haven’t been using it lately. But since I Downloaded the update, it automatically starts in vr with no menu or anything and if I turn the vr off and try to boot it, it loads to a solid black screen. 
 

any suggestions?

If your headset isn't plugged in, it shouldn't load into VR mode. But if it is, can you try hitting the Center View button?

yea. its just a black screen without the headset but with it, i only get the hangar and recenter doesnt do anything and neither does using keyboard selection buttons like tab ot up/down arrows and enter.    literally nothing changes anything

This absolutely worked for me.  Thank you so much. I tried redoenloading the game and everything.  Nothing worked. 
 

for anybody else this happens to, try just deleting the “options.lua” file in the saved games, dcsopenbeta, config folder. 
I’m pretty sure that’s the culprit.
