BreaKKer Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Title is as it sounds. With the speedbrake out, it does not automatically retract when the throttle goes into MIL. In the image attached, note the throttle setting and the speedbrake position. Inside the cockpit, my throttle was all the way to 100% without being in burner, and the speedbrake remained out until I went through the afterburner gate. 1 BreaKKer CAG and Commanding Officer of: Carrier Air Wing Five // VF-154 Black Knights
DoorMouse Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 I think this is a feature? The speedbrake can be commanded at any valid speed regardless of engine settings, with the exception of commanding afterburner. This means you can keep the engine spooled on landings and in combat without worrying that your flight profile will drastically change with your express command.
Callsign JoNay Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Works perfectly fine for me in both the A and B. Just tested.
