HUD not visable

I cannot see the HUD symbols at all.  Sometimes if I turn the HUD brightness knob, for a brief second I can see some symbols but then they disappear.  So the question is- what is the secret?  This happens when the glass is up or down.

Here it is.  This is not my first DCS module, but it is the first time no HUD appears.

It now it seems to be working.  I have no idea why.  I  turned off trackir and then  I put back Trackir.  Not sure if that even matters.

is it normal for the HUD symbols to be off center?

Off center vertically or horizontally?

In your track, the flight path marker is shifted to the right, which is likely the result of a crosswind.  Try flying the opposite direction and see if it goes to the left side.

If you are talking about the horizon line sitting above the horizon, that is a suspected bug that we have reported to HB.

Looks like there might be an axis that is controlling the HUD brightness. When the HUD was visible for that split second you can see the brightness knob moving, and then snap back to the "off" position when the HUD goes away again.

That seemed to be the problem.  Now working ok.
