twistking Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Hello, this bug exists since 2.0 or maybe 1.4 even. Can't really remember anymore. I've posted it already multiple times. After sunset and before sunrise there is a time window of relatively precisely 1h in which there is no shadow casting light in the world scene, even when the (full) moon is still/already up in the sky. The moon is visible in the sky, but casts no light. This makes mission at dusk and dawn very un-immersive and not really enjoyable, because you have that 1h period where everything is pitch black. This issue got more obvious with the recent patch that shows sunset/sunrise and moonphase, so you'd easily pick a date where full moon is up before sunset and you'd still get 1h of pitch black night during transition from moon to sun and vice versa... My improved* wishlist after a decade with DCS *now with 17% more wishes compared to the original
Flappie Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Hi, can you please provide a track or a mission with the right time to observe the issue? ---
