sLYFa Posted January 7, 2022 Share Posted January 7, 2022 I'm not familiar with the details on Harrier launch/recovery procedures but I'm sure they are very different from the CATOBAR procedures the SC uses, hence no point in using CATOBAR designed ATC with S/VTOL aircraft (i.e. the Harrier). I appreciate that I can start on the SC with my Hornet friends but I have zero expectation of ground crew or LSO functions working for it as AFAIK no AV-8B has ever flown from a CATOBAR ship (I could be wrong).
