twistking Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Hello, again this is half question, half wishlist item, because i don't know how it is in the real aircraft. I assume that in the real F-16c it is possible to populate the HSD "map" with some vector graphics or similar to show f.e. coastlines, rivers, borders (!) or simply mark certain areas, show POIs etc. Is this possible in the real jet? Can we get this in the sim then? Maybe the new "drawing" tool in ME could be used to create those graphics for the HSD. Thanks. Falconeer Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 (edited) It is possible to show / add additional lines on the HSD. You can also add "killboxes" etc, however these can only be added with the data cardridge It should look similar like the dashed lines in the picture below: Edited January 13, 2022 by Falconeer 1 Planes: Choppers: Maps: Flaming Cliffs 3 Black Shark 2 Syria A-10C Tank killer 2 Black Shark 3 Persian Gulf F/A18C Hornet AH-64 Apache Mariana's F-16C Viper Afghanistan F-15E Strike Eagle Kola Peninsula Mirage 2000C AJS-37 Viggen JF-17 Thunder F-14 Tomcat F-4E Phantom

That's exactly what i was thinking of. Even if you could only have simple things like country borders, coastlines, or major rivers would really help the SA a lot. Sure thing, that this feature would really shine with Data Cartridge, but it would also be useful without it. Then the mission designer would simply have to create those graphics.
