CiniKo Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 What are your tune axis for cyclic and collective?...Do you use Slider, Invert or User curve...? and which parameters? thanxs -LuKariello- -------------------- Fly high, Fly Fast! Amraam Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Well my rudder pedals slide around the floor so I've tuned my rudder axis curve so that 50% physical movement outputs 100% input ingame. This way I don't have to move the pedals as much sending them sliding around the laminet floor! To compensate I've added exponetial so that the center position is softened so it's not twitchy. When I get home (I'm on the iPhone ATM) I'll post up some screenshots of my axis curves etc [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] | Intel E6750 @3.2Ghz | 2GB OCZ PC2-6400 RAM | XFX 680i SLI | BFG GTX260 216SP | Western Digital 3200AAKS 320GB SATA II HDD | | Seagate 320GB 16MB SATA II HDD | Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Soundcard | Samsung 245B 24" TFT Monitor | | Logitech Z-5400 Digital THX 5.1 speakers | Logitech G15 | Logitech MX1000 | TM Cougar #27955 | TrackIR 3 Pro

Dreamboy Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I first used some curves to soften small control inputs. After reading some comments about not using them I've restored curves to default linear input. Now trimming works perfect with my force feedback joystick. I had some problems before and it's possible this was due to the axis settings. So I've only added a small (10) death zone on all axis and using default curve settings.
Acedy Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Dreamboy is right, if you use the realistic flight model it is recommended to keep the X and Y axis linear, maybe with a small deadzone in the center if required. See GUI manual page 26. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *** SERVMAN SERVER MANAGEMENT MOD V2 FOR DCS:BS V1.0.1 *** *** VERSION FOR FC2 ***
takamba Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Will try with linear curves again. DCS Rafale - please
