Hi, I have added another station to my sim rig, which is to be a dedicated Helo chair and controls. I already have a Virpil Mongoose CM2 base, with a TM F18 grip that I use in jets.

The new station has a Virpil VPC TCS collective base , with a Virpil LH Alpha grip attached. For the Cyclic, I have a Virpil warbird base, with a Real simulator F18 grip. This will be used in conjunction with my Jet seat and controls, but obviously nbot at the same time.....

Please can someone advise the best order / method for installing and setting up these peripherals? I already have the VPC software set up and working for my Jet sim stick base, no issues. Any pitfalls to look out for, etc etc? What about in DCS, can anyone see any issues there with control binds etc?

Many thanks

I just plugged the Virpil collective in, windows set it up and it worked without any other inputs required but some adjustment with control axis. I do not have experience with the other peripherals.  However I have a Warthog HOTAS throttle and stick also plugged in.

Hi, OK, started to do this and immediatly ran into issues ( Of course, why would I not, its DCS and computers....) ...I am following the havoc clan tutorial here:

I have only the warbird base connected. I start by updating the firmware but this wont complete, it gives an error message saying : " Error - select base"  Then it rolls back to the old profile. If I press OK on the error message the screen changes to the profile page where it says " No base selected" and I select the warbird base. If I then try and update the firmware again, the exact same thing happens, I seem to be in some kind of loop.......

I am also using the base with a Real simulator F-18 stick. However, this does not show in the drop down menu to choose on the profile page........

So I  thought I would move on to the collective, unplugged the base and plugged in the collective.....exact same thing happens as describes above with this.....

Can anyone help?

Is the real simulator grip compatible with virpil bases ?

Which version of VPC software are you using ?

Hi, Yes, I understand they are, if you use the bluetooth connection option. Please note I have tried with and without the grip connected as well , so it is not to do with the grip I would say. Also, I am getting the exact same error with the collective when I try and install that and that has a virpil grip attached not a real simulator grip.......

The software is version 20210102

Thank you.
